About Halyna Shkatuliak
I am Halyna Shkatuliak — an author, educator and theologian. I was born in Ternopil, Ukraine, and today I live in Illinois, USA.
My work grew out of a love for family, faith and years of experience raising children. I believe that good books can do more than inspire — they can help people find answers to important life questions, build resilience and strengthen spiritual values.
I write in Ukrainian, Russian and English, creating books that can speak to readers of different ages and backgrounds.

Why I Started Writing?
The idea for my books was born within my own family. Many of the topics explored in 40 Days first appeared in conversations with my children.
I wanted to find a gentle and accessible way to talk with children about faith, responsibility, gratitude, choices, relationships and spiritual growth. Over time, these reflections became a book that now helps other families on a similar journey.

The Values Behind My Work
Faith
Spiritual growth and a meaningful relationship with God.
Family
Supporting parents and nurturing a shared journey of growth within the family.
Mindfulness
Learning to notice what matters, ask meaningful questions and seek thoughtful answers.
Growth
Building character, responsibility and inner resilience.

Today and Beyond
Today, I continue working on new projects for children, teens and parents.
My goal is to create books that help people grow spiritually, emotionally and personally. Among my future projects are new books for family reading, resources for parents and materials that support spiritual growth within the family.
